Energy Academy facilities
An £8.5m investment into the Energy Academy expansion means new facilities in carbon capture, hydrogen fuel and battery storage are coming soon! Until then, students can make the most of our industry-standard facilities in renewable, subsea and offshore energy, including:
- the world's most immersive Hybrid Reality (iHR) system.
- MMA, MIG and TIG welding bays.
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
- plasma cutting and engineering workshops.
- wind turbine testing kits.
